
Community’s Changemakers honoured
At this week’s B’nai B’rith and JNF Changemaker Awards ceremony, hosted via Zoom, it was announced that a new category is being added to the annual awards in Joshua Levi’s honour.
The B’nai B’rith Alfred Dreyfus Anti-Defamation Unit and JNF Australia are honouring individuals in our community who have made a difference – in the process inspire others to get involved.
Youth (Under 18): $700
Young adult (18 to 35): $1000

Volunteering, advocacy, fundraising, membership in Zionist Youth Group

B’nai Brith Award for Leadership:
For exemplary leadership demonstrated by young adults in both Jewish and broader community contexts. Awarded to an individual who has demonstrated vision, initiative and the capacity to inspire those around him/her, and exhibits pride in their Jewish identity.
Contribution to the State of Israel
Fundraising, volunteering, advocacy also via Zionist organisations.

Voting for the 2020 B’nai B’rith and JNF Jewish Changemaker Awards closes on November 16.
The competition is divided into youth (14-18) and young adults (18-35), with categories including contributions to the Jewish community, Australian society and the State of Israel.
