The category winners will receive the following prizes:

JNF Award for Contribution to the Jewish Community

A changemaker in a voluntary capacity that demonstrates commitment and passion to their cause. Those who make considerable impact and or create change in the Jewish community whether it may be through a Jewish organisation, fundraising, education, youth movements, advocacy, research or intercommunity relations. They are someone who promotes Jewish values and tikkun olam. 

Contribution to Australian Society:

A changemaker in a voluntary capacity that demonstrates commitment and passion to their cause within Australian society. Those who make considerable impact and or change in the field of social justice, sport, entertainment, Australian charities, Law and Order, advocacy, innovators, environmentalists, business entrepreneurs, research or inter-community relations.

Contribution to the State of Israel

A changemaker in a voluntary capacity that demonstrates commitment and passion to their Israel related cause. Those who make considerable impact through advocacy, education or fundraising through Zionist organisations and or individual efforts.

Young Adults – 18-35

Contribution to Australian Society

A changemaker in a voluntary capacity that demonstrates commitment and passion to their cause within Australian society. Those who make considerable impact and or change in the field of social justice, sport, entertainment, Australian charities, Law and Order, advocacy, innovators, environmentalists, business entrepreneurs, research or inter-community relations.

B’nai Brith Award for Leadership:

For exemplary leadership demonstrated by young adults in both Jewish and broader community contexts. Awarded to an individual who has demonstrated vision, initiative and the capacity to inspire those around him/her, and exhibits pride in their Jewish identity.

Contribution to the State of Israel

A changemaker in a voluntary capacity that demonstrates commitment and passion to their Israel related cause. Those who make considerable impact through advocacy, education or fundraising through Zionist organisations and or individual efforts.

Joshua Levi Young Professional Award 

The Josh Levi Young Professional Award will be awarded to

  • A Jewish professional who either works within the Jewish community, or
  • Works in an area that engages with the Jewish community,
  • Has exhibited meaningful and impactful change in the area of his or her work,
  • Has promoted a sense of collegiality across the communal landscape, and
  • Is committed to furthering their engagement with the Jewish community through their professional career
