As a proud and active member of the Jewish and broader communities, I continuously aim to contribute to society through volunteering via a variety of platforms, either at school, or externally.
I would describe myself as an outgoing person and always willing to try new things. I enjoy sharing my experiences with others, and in turn finding out others opinions in order to achieve a holistic view on matters. It’s always interesting to hear someone else’s story.
A highlight for me was during my recent participation in the Building Bridges Interfaith Program. The program reinforced to me what a wonderful experience it was, to be able to communicate ideas and have conversations with peers from a variety of schools and backgrounds, in a relaxed social setting.
This year and last year I have participated in the Jewish Care Young Achievers Program which has provided me with the opportunity to volunteer within organisations, give back to those within the community, meet new people, and be a part of a leadership cohort of similar aged peers.
I am passionate about making a change, and enhancing the wellbeing of others. Whether it be in a school setting, or doing acts of kindness that will make someone’s day. It is my goal to make the world a better place for all communities.
