Rachel is a strategic designer who works at the intersections of human centred design, policy and community development across a diversity of sectors.

Her portfolio career has involved speechwriting and advising the diplomatic team at the Israeli Embassy in Canberra; driving national disaster preparedness strategy and program development for the Australian Red Cross; designing programs, events and the Tribe app to engage young Jewish Australians as Hillel Director and facilitating inclusive infrastructure design within the first User Centred Design practice established for an engineering firm in Australia.

Rachel is a Scaling Impact Fellow of the Social Impact Hub; and received a Red Cross Persia Porter Scholarship to conduct research into global best practice for scaling community disaster preparedness. Rachel volunteers with Red Cross, providing psychosocial support to people affected by emergencies, and is a volunteer facilitator and mentor with the Australian Jewish Funders, delivering design thinking workshops, masterclasses and coaching to community leaders.

Rachel currently works as an Experience Design Manager for international management consultancy Nous, using design research to inform the creation and evolution of products, services and experiences. She thrives on helping people explore ideas, develop solutions and engage in powerful and experiential ways.
