I am a dreamer, doer and advocate, born and bred in the Melbourne Jewish community. After graduating from Bialik College and completing a Business Degree at Monash University, I began volunteering with Flying Fox. I quickly found myself going on camps or weekends away almost weekly, inspired by the connections I made, the importance of fun and the power and dedication of young people.

With lived experience of being a sibling of someone with a disability (my incredible brother, Jeremy), Flying Fox offered a space where I could better understand the disability sector, the challenges and where work still needs to be done.

In my current role as Community and Innovation Manager at Australian Jewish Funders, I have the pleasure of working alongside and learning from many incredible community leaders and for-purpose organisations. I believe collaboration, innovation and investment in our leaders are invaluable in building a strong and vibrant Jewish community.

In 2021, AJF launched a strategic partnership with Catchafire, a platform for skills-based volunteering, gifting access to 100 Jewish for-purpose organisations in Australia. Over the past two years, I’ve liaised with these organisations, supporting them to get started and take advantage of the platform. Catchafire has provided an opportunity for organisations to build their capacity and connect with brilliant professionals from around the world, who are passionate about using their time and talents to give back to the community.

Outside work hours, you can find me ordering soy lattes at local cafes, pulling out weeds in the garden or planning holidays now that international travel is a reality once again.
